Version 1.17a introduces two noise control mechanisms to allow for more refined lock hold in low noise environments separate from the noise clipping functions for monitor frame hold. This means that the basic frame of the signal is held still further down the receiver RF power range which supplies better stability, locking speed, and locking hold. The basic video clean up occurs at approximately -86 db levels to support DVR and video monitor deficiencies. Some goggles can handle more noise content, but the poorer performance of DVRs is being supported in this adjustment. A few additional changes were implemented to support new hardware, older hardware will not be effected by these changes.
