A BELL'S BICYCLE CANNON, produced by the Bell Novelty Co in Warren, Road Island. Issued at the time of the Spanish-American War. Produced to celebrate the May 1st, 1898 destruction of the Spanish Pacific Squadron in Manila Bay. Battle was led by Commodore Dewey. New Old Stock with original box. Mounts on the Front Fork blades. Pull the string and the cannon's wheel is forced to the tire. As it revolves it makes a loud CLICK ~ CLICK ~ CLICK sound. Shields Collection
