This is an article that was published in the November 1957 issue of Bill Quinn's Bicycle Journal magazine. Some of the highlights of the article are: (1) Raleigh opened a factory extension covering 20 acres which represents a 50 percent increase to the existing plant (already the world's largest bicycle factory), (2) George Wilson, Raleigh's chairman, introduced Lord Montgomery, who was the guest of honour, (3) Sir Harold Bowden, Raleigh's president, toasted Lord Montgomery at a luncheon.
