The back of the photo bears this text; `Master Walter Geist and our hired bikes at entrance to Mount Vernon, Virgina home of George Washington. . .Easter Week-1946` The book is material for young cyclists and was writen because of the lack of material about safety for the younger bikers. The author was an ardent bicyclist and has led several trips for the AYH (American Youth Hostel) in USA and Europe. The dimensions are 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches, the condition is very good.
