See an original letter from Crawford to a potential customer in the section titled 'Letterheads' of this collection. An interesting observation; on page 5 of this catalog there is an illustration of a frame with a close-up of the crank-hanger section; the negative was reversed so the right-side crank and chainring are on the left-side of the frame. . .it is unusual for a bicycle factory to make such an error. Crawford had branch offices in New York, Baltimore and St. Louis. There are two different rubber stamp companies on the front cover; (1) Bigelow and Dowse Co. of Boston, MA as sole New England Agents, and (2) J.W.Estabrook at 158 Main St., in Marlboro, Mass., most likely the local retailer. 33 pages with an abundance of illustrations of component parts and the bike line for 1897, including two models of tandems. The condition is excellent, the dimensions are 6 1/8 x 7 3/4 inches, photo #035
