Falcon Cycles (aka Coventry Eagle Cycles) produced some fine looking bicycles in the 1950`s and 1960`s. Howie`s father arranged for WCCSC to become the USA Distributor. We imported the San Remo and Black Diamond models and also a limited production of the Falcon High Wheel (Penny Farthing) bicycles. Falcon sponsored a racing team in England; the team did quite well and received a considerable amount of press in the British cycling magazines. This image is a page from WCCSC`s catalog which was produced and distributed to dealers in the early 1960`s. Luke has a San Remo model bike and is going to send me photos for this category.

Luke DeNitto recently acquired this Falcon San Remo. He is going to restore it to its original specifications and said he would send some photos of the restored bike when he is finished. This particular San Remo appears to have a mylar sticker on the seat tube which imitates a chrome plated panel. The San Remo models that WCCSC imported had a long chrome plated panel on the seat tube, and additionally, the two head lugs were chrome plated as were the seat & chain stay tubes.
