Nishiki brand bicycles were originally produced by Kawamura Cycles of Kobe Japan exclusively for West Coast Cycle Supply Company (aka WCCSC and/or WCC), Howie`s family company. Nishiki was the successor brand of the American Eagle brand bicycles. See more information in another section of this web site about the history & meaning of Nishiki and why Howie decided to change the brand from American Eagle to Nishiki. This is a hang tag that was supplied with each bicycle that was produced in Japan by Kawamura. Notice that three other USA distributors are also mentioned in the hang tag (Pettee Cycle, Louisville Cycle and Mc Rae & Conner; they were associate distributors of the brand for WCC.
