 | | Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. | | This poster is a wonderful old 1896 map of Northern & Central California and stretching down to the Santa Barbara coast. Many bicycling roads are shown as are the grades. There are several adverts for bicycle brands including; Fenton, Credena, Spalding Columbus, Lovell-Diamond, March-Davis Cycle Co of Chicago, Tribune, Union, Barnes, Halladay, Wolff, Sylph, Overland, Victor (Overman), National & Deere. There are also adverts for retail & wholesale bicycle companies, including; Columbus Buggy of SFO, W.R.Evans Co of SFO, Park Cyclery, Premier Cycle Co., L.S.Martel & Co of SFO, The Wheelery of SFO, Hooker & Co of SFO, Cooper Cycle Co of SFO, C.S.Potter & Co of SFO, Thos.E.Kent Cycle Clothing & Si-Ko-Lene Chain Lube. Disregard the round objects on the edges; they are magnets used to hold the poster for photographing. I did not get the camera positioned in the center and therefore the image is not square.
