This poster was produced by Windsor as Eddy used a Windsor brand bike for the record. There were two different posters produced for this record setting event. This poster also states that Eddy set two additional world records; (1) the 10km at 11 minutes, 53 2/10 seconds, and (2) the 20km at 24 minutes, 6 8/10 seconds. The dimensions are 20 1/2 x 27 1/4 inches. A little history; The Windsor brand was owned by AcerMex, a factory in Mexico City producing tubing, hand-made racing bikes and production racing bikes. Bob Hansing and Howie visited the factory many times as WCCSC was the USA distributor for Windsor. The owner was Mr. Hessel, CEO was Pablo Tortorillo, factory manager was Remo Vecci. I last heard that Pablo`s son and Remo`s sons are in the bicycle industry. Windsor produced hand-made racing frames that appeared similar to Cinelli frames. There is a lovely wood-lacquered serving bowl in this collection; see it in the `serving tray` category.
