Phillippe Renoux was born in France in 1960. He started cycle racing in 1975 as a junior where he finished in the top five in the first few races in which he competed. He rode with club A.C.Baignes-Barbezieux in 1983 & 1984. He claims 46 total victories in his career. My Swiss/Tex friend purchased some jerseys and racing memorabilia from Phillippe and kindly passed some if it to me; see the picture gallery. This framed photo shows Phillippe at the start of a European race (wearing the Bouriaud cap) and there is ASPTT printed on both sleeves of his jersey.

A large original photo (18x12 inches) from Andre Bohren's collection. Hinault is riding in the center (4th from left) wearing his La Vie Claire Team jersey. This photo was sent to Andre by French ex-racer, Phillipe Renoux, who is riding to the left of Hinault and is wearing the jersey with the red top & blue bottom. Notice that all riders are using toe clips & straps. Hinault was the first to use clip-less pedals in the TdF at a later date.
