Rocky Mountain Bicycle Show (RMBS) 2009 |
|---|
A very attractive plaque presented to Howie by Carol Johnson, the owner of this enjoyable consumer Expo which was held in August 2009 at the Denver National Western Complex. The inscription is: Howie Cohen, Thank you for your extraordinary guidance and support. The plaque is made from a molded resin material and has a freewheel cog attached to the upper left corner. The RMBS logo is molded into the plaque. The reverse side has a spoke and spoke-nipple which is used to support the plaque on a desk or shelf. Awards were given to some of the other exhibitors (manufacturers) for the excellent products they manufactured and displayed. The dimensions are 7 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches. Carol is already making plans for the 2010 Expo. . .not to be missed if you are able to attend. Great for exhibitors and consumer attendees alike. We exhibited a portion of our Bicycle Memorabilia & Art Collection to the public for the first time. [Award RMBS 2009]

Stein #1534.a |
|---|
The illustration is of a bicycle-built-for-five (quint) but it has eight riders aboard! The two policemen at the front of the quint are quite surprised. The text at the top of the illustration is; ORIGINAL - RADLERSEIDEL. The text at the bottom is; WIR SPAREN SPRIT - WIR FAHREN RAD - WIR BLEIBEN FIT! The lid has a Reich brand bell built into it; I suppose so you can RING for the server to bring you another drink. On the top of the lid is an embossed image of Saint Christopher with embossed text; ASPICE CHRISTOPHORUM - ET TUTUS VIAM CARPE. There is another stein in this collection that is identical to this one except the lid is plain (without the bell or the St. Christopher & text image). [Stein-1534.a]
