Atwood produced training wheel sets and kickstands. Their kickstands were the most popular in the industry during the 1950`s and 1960`s. WCC began distributing Atwood products in the mid 1950`s. The factory was in Chicago and they kept a substantial inventory in a public warehouse in Los Angeles. Howie would drive the WCC pick-up truck (`57 Ford Ranchero) to pick-up orders of the Atwood kickstands & training wheels almost every month. This picture is an advertisement that was published in the 1957 issue of Bicycle journal. [Atwood Vacuum Mach]
