American Cyclery was located at 1901 Broadway in Denver, CO. They were an Authorized Schwinn Dealer and participated in co-op newspaper advertising with the other Schwinn Dealers in the Denver area. This is a copy of a co-op newspaper advertisement for the Schwinn Collegiate 5-speed bike from c.1965. Bottom Bracket Eccentric Insert (see the picture gallery)
An alloy eccentric insert often times used for tandems. The eccentricity enables you to adjust the chain tension for the timing chain. The dimensions are: O.D. is 58.4mm, I.D. is 35mm, the length is 88mm. See the picture gallery. [BB Part 015]
