The bike on the left (standing) is a Rollfast balloon tire model. The bike laying on the ground is a balloon tire model with rear 'swing down' kickstand, 'string skirt guard' and coaster brake. The dimensions are 9 1/4 x 7 1/8 inches. If anyone knows the names of these actresses or the movie from whic this scene appears, please contact me so we can update this description. [Foto,Hlywd-028]

Fixie or Track 54cm Frame and Fork Set |

This frame set is no longer in the collection but the listing remains for its value for research. This is a 54cm Track or Fixie frame and fork set (not a complete bicycle).It may have been produced in the 1970’s or 1980’s (but most likely earlier). It has been packed in a carton in Los Angeles since 1988. Interestingly there is a hole for a grease (zerk) fitting on the BB tube. The serial number is 1657485, located on the bottom of the BB lug. This classic frame set could be built up into a Track Bike or a Fixie Bike (for riding around town). The color is white with lots of scratches. This frame set was packed together with another track frame set which is 57cm; both are available to sell. See the picture gallery. [BikeContempor-T-43]
