Bill Walters (BW) Clothing Manufacturer for BMX and Motorcycle Racers |

Bill Walters (left) presenting an XL BW T-Shirt to Ian Callison (right) while Ian was visiting Bill in Hawaii. Bill was famous for producing high quality jerseys & leathers (nylon) for BMX Teams and individual racers. He produced many of the Kuwahara uniforms for us in the 1980`s. The production facility was in Burbank, CA. Ian is a BMX enthusiasts and avid collector living in Japan for his business. He is a regular poster on several BMX forums and he has purchased a few of the duplicate items from Howie`s collection. [BillWaltersClothin]

A 35 page booklet by Harry Hewitt Griffin describing with illustrations and text all of the principal makes of bicycles and improvements introduced in the season of 1877 (in England & in the author`s opinion). Mr. Griffin was a member of The London Athletic Club and The Wanterers` Bicycle Club. The book was designed to assist intending purchasers in the choice of a machine. This appears to be a reprint-because the condition is so good, but I can`t be certain that it`s not an original. The dimensions are 5 x 8 1/4 inches, the condition is mint. [BookAntq-B-1877]

This is a cut out page from a publication or it might have been printed as a poster or a portion of a large format book. It may have been a printed proof of a plate which was to be used in a publication. It is printed on very thin paper. It`s a comical satire with a poem (verse) included at the bottom; may not be in good taste but never the less it is related to bicycles. The dimensions are are 9 x 14 1/2 inches. [MagCtAntq 1897-91c]

The SunTour (Maeda Industries) group of suppliers have a set of five (5) original paintings (Track Racing) done by Hajime Kato in Paris. SunTour produced a set of five (5) postcards, one of each is a reproduction of one of the original Kato paintings. The set includes a sixth postcard with a picture of the SunTour V Dérailleur and some Japanese kanji text. The full set of 6 is packaged in this printed SunTour Envelope. [SunTour 7]
