Roland Geist was a famous bike man and collector for most of his 81 years. Many of the items in Howie's collection were acquired from the Geist collection. People have been riding bicycles for hundreds of years. And during that time enthusiasts have raced them traveled on them, performed on them, even painted pictures and written poems, stories and songs about them. Bicycles have long been a source of fun as well as transportation to people of all ages'. The paper front and back covers bear illustrations by G.Rodo Boulanger, 'TOUR OF FRANCE' on the front and 'HOLIDAY ON WHEELS' on the back (prints of both are included in this collection). The dimensions are 8 3/4 x 11 1/4 inches, the condition is mint. [BookContemp-B320]
