more details		 A.B. Goehler of Buffalo, New York

A.B. Goehler was one of the `hot` racing men of the late 1800`s. He competed with other `crackers` at the August 22, 1894 National Cycle Meet in Kansas City, MO put on by the Kansas City Athletic Club. A few of the competitors who had raced in Denver-Pueblo, CO, and were on their way back to the east coast, stopped to race in Kansas City(glad to have a rest after a long 36-hour dusty trip across the plains).

more details		 Frank (Frankie) Brilando
This photo (c.1940`s) of Frank Brilando (right) with Bob Farbin (left) was taken at Humboldt Park Track in Chicago, IL, is in Bill Bina`s memorabilia collection. Frank was the 1946 & 1947 Illinois State Champion. Frank`s bicycle racing career and bike engineering savvy landed him a job at Schwinn where he became well known within the industry as an expert and a very well respected and liked guy. Howie enjoyed the several occasions when we met. [Brilando, Frank]
