1898 CTC MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE with Double-Sided MEMBERSHIP TOKEN
The Cyclists` Touring Club of England was an early and strong movement to promote the use of bicycles and improve bicycling conditions in England (somewhat similar to the L.A.W. in the USA). There is a great deal of memorabilia about the CTC in this collection, spread around in various specific categories. To see all of the categories containing CTC memorabilia, use the search feature on this site; search for CTC. This membership card and the attached token are printed on both sides, see the picture gallery. The dimensions of the card are 4 1/16 x 2 1/8 inches, the token is 1 1/8 inches in diameter.
