Swallow was a trade name of Marui Boeki of Kobe, Japan. Rio Marui, a very nice and gentle person, was the founder and president. He was one of the original and leading exporters of Japanese bicycles and bicycle component parts in the 1960`s. He later developed TIOGA brand products and his son became active in the management of the company. The bugle was used by the captain of a riding group of Wheelmen on Ordinary (high wheel) bicycles in the late 1800`s. [Key-Swallow]
