1920 October 28, MOTORCYCLE AND BICYCLE ILLUSTRATED - A Weekly Publication-Predecessor to AMERICAN BICYCLIST &
These are 4 pages from the October 28, 1920 issue. Illustrated here is page-13; see the picture gallery for pages 14, 39 & 40. This publication and its predecessor, Motorcycle Illustrated was founded in 1906 and was merged and taken over by the David Meyers family (Stu`s father) in 1921 when it became a monthly under the name of American Bicyclist & Motorcyclist. The dimensions are 8 15/16 x 12 1/8 inches, the condition is poor, there are folds which have begun to tear, but the illustrations are 100% and the text is 99% legible. Special thanks to long time friend Pete Mole for including this item in the recent package. Pete`s dad, Phil Mole Sr. saved this and a few other choice items from his early bicycle business days. The Mole family acquired and operated The John T. Bill Co., a west coast Distributor for many years. Pete currently is the General Manager of Dahon USA, the folding-bicycle specialist (www.dahon.com). [MagAntqMisc M 650h]
