1995 Silver Dollar Proof XXVI Olympiad, Atlanta, Georgia (002) |
---|
26.73 grams of 90% silver, 38mm diameter. The front side is a group of 3 cyclists on road bikes (the engraving is so clear that you can see the cables) designed by John Mercanti, award winning mint Sculptor/Engraver since 1974. The reverse side is the clasped hands designed by William Krawczewicz, a visual information specialist at the US Mint since 1990. The Certificate of Authenticity is in the display box together with a cloisonne Olympic pin with the `Visa logo and the Olympic logo with Atlanta-1996`. The coin appears to be gold in the larger photo but it is silver; the reflection caused this gold tint. [Coins-002]
