Bicycle Motocross Action Magazine held a drawing contest in the 1980/1981 period. Dozens of drawings were sent to the magazine. Some of this really terrific art is listed here for your enjoyment. Keep in mind that the artists ranged in age from about 11 to 19 years old. The contact information for the artists has been blocked out for obvious reasons. AVAILABLE TO SELL, I HAVE A DUPLICATE! The plate is 9x5 inches with the illustration located in the section for the snack or sandwich. The section for the cup has a molded indentation for the cup. The cup is 2.75 inches semi-square (well rounded corners) and 2.5 inches high. Produced in Japan in the 1980's. The color of the ceramic is white, the bike is gold (I'm not certain if it is gold-leaf or gold-mylar). The image detail is very clear. The set is well packaged in a custom made box.
