Dunelt was one of the brands owned by Raleigh. The exclusive USA agent was G.Joannou Cycle Co., Inc., who`s name appears on the lower left corner of the poster; president- George Joannou. The dimensions are 22 1/5 x 29 inches. The bicycle illustrated was the typical 26 inch wheel lightweight with a Sturmey 3-speed hub and hand brakes. A little history; WCCSC was one of the distributors for Dunelt brand bikes; we received our shipments via ship-load (loose cargo as containerization had not yet been developed) direct from England. Our most popular model was the Fleur De Lis, a derailleur geared model with 27 x 1 1/4 wheels, Benelux Mark-7 10-speed derailleur and strange deep-bend drop handlebars. The colors and decals (transfers) were very attractive. [Poster-D.902]
