I acquired this unusual poster at the 2013 NAHBS where Andy & Steve Hampsten were displaying the very sweet Hampsten line of bikes. Visit their web site at click here or contact Steve by email at click here. Andy kindly inscribed & autographed the poster to me. The photo for the poster was taken on June 5, 1988 during the Giro which Andy won. The scene is of Andy riding in the snow over the Passo Gavia from the Pante di Legno side. The hand written notes in red color near the bottom give the distance in kilometers between the towns (which are also named) and the altitude is given in meters.
