1956 November Vol-6 #11 The Schwinn Reporter |
|---|
The Schwinn Reporter publication was produced monthly by Arnold, Schwinn & Co starting in the early 1950`s. It was the Schwinn House Organ, full of information about the Company, its products, its Franchised & Authorized Dealers and the bicycle industry. The Reporter was written specifically for Schwinn Dealers and was mailed to them each month. Whether it`s Cruisers, Krates, Sting Rays, Paramounts or Collegiates, you can see the evolution of the Schwinn bicycle line and the company by simply reviewing the pages. Each Schwinn Reporter is an extremely valuable piece of reference material. The Schwinn`sters written about in this issue include: Dutch Wavering, Keith Kingbay, Max Schottenstein, Alan Schottenstein, Russ Gunderson, Ray Burch, Frank V. Schwinn, Roy Seeholzer, Frank Brilando, Edward Schwinn, Bill Yaney, Don Rehm, William O. Collins, William B. `Bill` Collins and more. The articles in this issue include: (1) Schwinn Paramount Bikes shipped to Australia for USA Olympic Cycling Team-for 1956 Olympic Games, (2) Schwinn Dealers meet in Columbus, Ohio, and (3) Collins Bicycles of Denver, Colorado builds volume sales. There are many more articles and people to be named in this issue; when time permits I will come back to it and embellish this posting. This issue contains 6 pages. The dimensions are 10 x 17 inches.
