Gigantic 4-foot SCHWINN QUALITY Vinyl Sign
AVAILABLE TO SELL! This is a new (NOS) huge 4-food diameter sign; it was made to be applied to the wall of a retail store or for the Schwinn display booth at a trade show. The image is of the round Schwinn logo which is an evolution from the Schwinn lightweight bikes headbadge. There is a protective cover paper over the printed image, which is on vinyl or plastic. It is too large for me to photograph so I am using a small image for this listing. See the picture gallery for pictures of the actual sign which is rolled-up for storage.

Schwinn Krate `BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE` - Dan
This bike was built and belongs to Dan who resides in the Midwest. It is said that Schwinn only produced about 80 of this model and it was never released for sale. It was produced to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the release of the Beatles song, Yellow Submarine. Erick Elsegood has one of the original bikes still in the carton, NOS! These pictures gleaned from the Schwinn web site at: http://www.schwinnbike.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68403. Dan`s handle on the Schwinn web site is 67RamsHorn The following text and photos were posted on January 20, 2009:
Well I finally got it done last night. It took awhile but I wanted to make sure I did it right. P.S. I want to thank Sonny House for all of his great help on this bike. Sonny sent me detailed pictures and we talked on the phone several times. I could not of done this bike without Sonny`s help. Thank You so much Sonny, `Your the Man`. I owe you and hopefully I can return the favor. Thanks again, Dan.
I bought the seat and decals on ebay (I got lucky and the timing was great). I took a 1999 NOS stingray frame and had it sand blasted, painted yellow and red. I bought a 1999 apple krate in the box and used all of the parts except the frame and guard. I bought a NOS guard and had it painted. After the frame and guard were painted I applied the decals and took it back the painter to have 4 coats of clear applied. Thanks again, Dan.
