1956 May Vol-6 #5 The Schwinn Reporter
The Schwinn Reporter publication was produced monthly by Arnold, Schwinn & Co starting in the early 1950`s. It was the Schwinn House Organ, full of information about the Company, its products, its Franchised & Authorized Dealers and the bicycle industry. The Reporter was written specifically for Schwinn Dealers and was mailed to them each month. Whether it`s Cruisers, Krates, Sting Rays, Paramounts or Collegiates, you can see the evolution of the Schwinn bicycle line and the company by simply reviewing the pages. Each Schwinn Reporter is an extremely valuable piece of reference material.
The Schwinn`sters written about in this issue include: Henry Samuelson, Harry Clausen & Chris Hansen (all three of Chicago Cycle), Charles McCormick, M/M Ben Hanoski with sons Roman & Larry, Bill Chambers, Harry & Edward Swidler of Art`s Bike Shop, Evert Smalligan and others. There are many more articles and people to be named in this issue; when time permits I will come back to it and embellish this posting.
This issue contains 8 pages. The dimensions are 10 x 17 inches. See the picture gallery. [SchReporter1956-05]

1991 Schwinn Custom Supreme Cruiser by Luke DeNitto
This is the current favorite `rider` in Luke`s growing stable of unusual bikes. This is what Luke said about this bike:
Here are some photos of my everyday rider. I promised Kickstand Magazine a few pics of the bike I choose to ride over the 65 or more bikes that I own.
It is a 1991 Schwinn Supreme cruiser. It is just like my 1981 Schwinn Sidewinder. These multi speed bikes have a road bike frame with balloon tires and BMX handle bars. This Cruiser has a set of GT bars that I picked up at a local swap meet. Everything else on this bike is original and it rides like a dream. What I find great about these bikes is the lightweight frame, comfy balloons, and the adjustability of the ride position via the handlebars. These features truly makes it comfortable ride for any size rider.
Luke is a friendly guy who enjoys speaking with and sharing stories with other bike collectors.
