1956 August Vol-6 #8 The Schwinn Reporter |
|---|
The Schwinn Reporter publication was produced monthly by Arnold, Schwinn & Co starting in the early 1950`s. It was the Schwinn House Organ, full of information about the Company, its products, its Franchised & Authorized Dealers and the bicycle industry. The Reporter was written specifically for Schwinn Dealers and was mailed to them each month. Whether it`s Cruisers, Krates, Sting Rays, Paramounts or Collegiates, you can see the evolution of the Schwinn bicycle line and the company by simply reviewing the pages. Each Schwinn Reporter is an extremely valuable piece of reference material. The Schwinn`sters written about in this issue include: Fred Richard of Richard`s Cycle Shop, Julius Kegal of Kegal`s Cycle & Key Shop, Jake Jacobson of Jake`s Bike Shop, Lowell Bryan of Bryan`s Bike Shop, Ira Enmark in Mpls, MN, Andy Kozlow of Kozlow Cycle Shop, Phil Mustacchia, Tony Kozlowski, Roy Posinski, Bobby Dwyer, Audrey Kulp, Thomas Kujawa, Edward Welnowski, Bud Baker, Ralph Woods, Ernie Zamora, Carl Hausen of American Cyclery in Denver, CO and others. There are many more articles and people to be named in this issue; when time permits I will come back to it and embellish this posting. This issue contains 6 pages. The dimensions are 10 x 17 inches.
