The story of the Schwinn Bicycle Company has been chronicled in several books and various publications, many of which are listed on this web site (use the search feature on this site by typing in Schwinn). See the picture gallery for a snip of the many Schwinn employees that helped to make this the most admired and respected bicycle company in America for many decades during the 20th Century. Unfortunately the Schwinn family lost control of the company in the 1990`s after which the policies and products changed dramatically. Additional text & pictures pending. See the picture gallery.
